CDIC bursary

CDIC has partnered with Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures initiative to create a bursary for Indigenous women in Canada who are working toward higher education.

The bursary shows CDIC’s commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.

Who can apply?

To qualify, you must:

  • be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • be First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Inuit or Metis
  • identify as a woman
  • be enrolled in post-secondary education (full-time or part-time)

About the bursaries

CDIC offers ten bursaries in total. Five of these are for Indigenous students studying subjects related to CDIC’s, such as:

  • Economics and Finance: economics, computer science, mathematics or statistics, commerce/business administration with a finance major
  • Administration and Operations: financial services, business administration, project management, HR, communications, internal audit, security, security and more
  • Information Technology and Cybersecurity: software development, network engineering, solution architecture, project management, business analysis, cybersecurity
