Internal Auditor (24-month Term)

The Internal Auditor reports to the Manager, Internal Audit and assists the Manager, Internal Audit and the Chief Internal Auditor on assignments. There are no positions that report directly to the Internal Auditor. However, the Internal Auditor will, from time to time, be responsible for providing guidance to co-op students and other junior staff for various audit assignments. The Internal Auditor is accountable for conducting internal audits that provide reasonable assurance that: assets are safeguarded and controlled; transactions are in accordance with specified authorities; resources are managed economically and efficiently; and operations are carried out effectively.

Procurement Coordinator

The Procurement Coordinator reports directly to the Manager of Procurement, who in turn reports to the CFO in the Corporate Governance and Stakeholder Affairs Group and is responsible for supporting CDIC’s procurement process.

Trust Deposit Operations Analyst (36-month term)

Under the direction of the Director, Trust Deposit Operations, the Trust Deposit Operations Analyst is accountable for developing materials and identifying strategies and approaches to enhance stakeholders’ understanding of CDIC ‘s deposit insurance framework. This work will be done to assist stakeholders in meeting key requirements that protect deposits held at CDIC member institutions in the context of a dynamic financial services sector and maintain ongoing adherence to these rules.

Security Clearances

All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Security clearances are also required for positions at CDIC and involve verifying Canadian residency status, reference inquiries, criminal records and credit checks and fingerprinting.

Proficiency levels of Second Language (Comprehension, Writing and Oral)
