Learning Coordinator

Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is actively involved in the external reporting of the Corporation’s quarterly and annual financial reports. He/she must be familiar with IFRS and able to interpret any changes in standards and their implications on the Corporation. This position is also responsible for preparing the supporting documentation for all non-routine journal entries for the Corporation (e.g. the provision for insurance losses, current and deferred taxes, etc.). The Senior Accountant is also the main point of contact for CDIC’s travel and hospitality policies and procedures and will lead the implement of CDIC’s new expense management system.

Senior Legal Counsel

Director, Valuation and Stress Testing

The Director, Valuation and Stress Testing (VST) is responsible for the development and maintenance of a valuation and stress testing team to supplement member risk assessment and support resolution planning and preparedness activities. The Infrastructure Operation and Support Specialist (IOSS) is responsible for providing technical support for on premises and Cloud (Azure and O365) technology infrastructure by overseeing operations of the physical and virtual infrastructure including performing administration and maintenance. Additionally, the IOSS is responsible for ongoing support operations for disaster recovery to ensure the effective backup and recovery of CDIC data. The IOSS is also responsible for performing complex Local Area Network (LAN) administration functions and provide second level support to the ServiceDesk as required.

Trust Deposit Operations Analyst (36-month term)

Under the direction of the Director, Trust Deposit Operations, the Trust Deposit Operations Analyst is accountable for developing materials and identifying strategies and approaches to enhance stakeholders’ understanding of CDIC ‘s deposit insurance framework. This work will be done to assist stakeholders in meeting key requirements that protect deposits held at CDIC member institutions in the context of a dynamic financial services sector and maintain ongoing adherence to these rules.

Security Clearances

All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Security clearances are also required for positions at CDIC and involve verifying Canadian residency status, reference inquiries, criminal records and credit checks and fingerprinting.
