Notice of CDIC’s 2008 Annual Public Meeting 

The Board of Directors of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) is pleased to announce that its 2008 Annual Public Meeting will be held in Montréal on October 7, 2008.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.

CDIC will provide information about deposit insurance and about CDIC’s role in Canada’s financial safety net. A representative from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) will speak about the role of the AMF in deposit insurance in the province of Québec. Members of the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.
