The Board of Directors of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) is pleased to announce that its 2018 Annual Public Meeting will be broadcast as a Facebook live event on February 28, 2018. The meeting will be held as a panel discussion on the connection between financial health and overall well-being.
Michèle Bourque, President and CEO of CDIC, welcomes Lucie Tedesco, Commissioner, Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, and Isabelle G. Bajeux-Besnainou, Dean and Professor of Finance, Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, for a conversation about how understanding deposit insurance and other financial matters can help reduce financial worries and contribute to overall wellness.
Members of the public are invited to participate and will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel in advance or in real time.
