Program Manager, ITSM and Intervention Logistics
Location: Ottawa

The Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation is a federal Crown corporation. CDIC’s mission is to provide deposit insurance and contribute to the stability of the financial system in Canada, for the benefit of depositors of member institutions while minimizing the Corporation’s exposure to loss.

CDIC has an immediate opening for a Program Manager, ITSM and Intervention Logistics.

To be considered for this job, you must first have completed a university degree in computer science and/or possess equivalent experience in IT operations. At a minimum, you must possess the Service Managers certificate in IT Service Management (ITILv2); ITIL Expert (ITILv3) qualification is preferred. At least 10 years experience in infrastructure support is required, preferably within an organization that has implemented ITSM/ITIL processes. You must have a minimum of 5 years experience in leading projects in ITSM process, service and technology implementation, and you must have extensive knowledge and competence to work at a detailed technical level. You have experience and in-depth knowledge and understanding of technology infrastructure operations and configurations and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with other frameworks (e.g. CoBIT, MOF, etc.) is desirable. We are looking for an individual who is able to work in cross-divisional and departmental activities and is comfortable working outside of the city, as required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential in order to effectively communicate and prepare reports for approval by management. Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
